I alwaya remember an old skool pd rpg I had. Top down block by block world map, basic looking little white emoji looking man for your character. A kimd of bards tale/heimdall sort lf game. It was great.

Red Alert and Z are pure brilliance. Z is kind of tiny game in comparison but pure magnificence. Very fast and attention demanding game. Shame it didn't have more continuation.

PRO TIP: You can use flamer in the tactical map by left clicking on 'lollypop' looking icon & then left clicking square you want to target. This way you get unlimited flamer range (as long as you have Line of Fire on the square you're targeting).

never liked the first Quake. Too dark, monotonous, levels all similar one to another... caves, castles, dungeons, all blocky, empty ambients and all alike. Few, dark colours, very dull, squalid. The 3d engine was very good for its time but otherwise a very overrated game

Wow, I never realized Warcraft II & Command & Conquer were released the same year. I started with C&C Red-Alert, and I wouldn't find Warcraft until WC3. But WC2's graphics are light-years ahead of C&C. It's unbelievable. Maybe C&C was using fully-rendered & had more units on screen while WC2 utilized something like sprites? Everything just looks so much more solid. It's almost like N64 vs PS1 in difference.

I can remember having a Windows 95 game of some kind, and it had promotional material for other games in the box from LucasArts I think. Wish I could remember what game it was, but anyways it had a poster for The Dig. It had no additional information, and I always wondered what the hell it could be. Thanks to you and this video I now know what The Dig was! At 6 years old I probably wouldn't have thought much of it, but it looks very interesting now.

Hi, nicely played! 🙂 This mission is such a pain, I've yet to clear it. What version of SH are you playing? I'm playing the pc cd-rom version and it has a much more elaborate boarding torpedo cut-scene, but for some reason the storm bolters in this version have a much lower rate of fire and they jam all the time too (sometimes permanently!!). I didn't spot a single jammed bolter in your video. Also there seems to be more blips spawning in my games. I can't get past the corner before the control room because there is always a permanent queue of 3-4 blips waiting in a row and eventually the bolter jams which is a death sentence in such close quarters.

Just so you know: LED Wars was made by Larian Studios... it was their first game and was developed in 5 months. They wouldn't release another game until 2002, when they released Divine Divinity.

What the heck was that Tribes clip? That game, especially Tribes 2, had incredible and chaotic gameplay with spinfusor discs exploding everywhere, the CHING of a flag grab while like 50 people spammed WOOHOO and SHAZBOT in voice commands
